2013 Hallowe'en
It's been four years since a spider-themed Hallowe'en at our house.
We worked on the spider a bit, sewing a new "inflatable" abdomen, integrating a fog
machine, and rigging it to hang from an acutal web. The movement on the web really brought
it to life.
The crowd felt a touch light (again) this year, but still several hundred kids came by.
If you're after a successful yard decoration, go for one big thing and invest in lights.
Sitting on our steps handing out candy is quickly becoming a Thing To Do on October 31.
Super big thanks to these guys, Eve, Pat, Allison, and Molly for making tonight happen.
This is not a one-person show. It takes a village to...wait.
I wanted to make these even more "life like." They certainly get a lot of notice, but
I wonder if it's perhaps a touch "too far...?"
