2011 Hallowe'en
Didn't get a stretched panoramic. The only light in the yard was black light,
so none of the photos will do "the look" justice.
The smaller ghost with the glowing red eyes right in the center slid down a pulley
into the visual path (and, sometimes, head) of someone coming up the steps.
Good for more than a few startles.
Set up in daylight.
All the ghosts are made from simple white sheets (washed with blacklight-reactive
detergent) over a frame of one sort or another. The two largest have shoulders
and arms of PVC. The tombstones are recycled from 2008.
Amelia decked out ghost-like for the assist on the steps.
Extra special thanks to Allison for cranking out background ghosts and assisting
with panicked set-up. Thanks to Elias, Julian, Amelia, and Lucas for the assist
with launching the small ghost into peoples faces and handing out candy. It takes
a village.
